Farewell Card for a Co-Worker

Recently, my office had to say farewell to a hard-working, fun-loving team member. We had a pizza party, did a little fun-roasting of Dan’s shenanigans over the last four years and wished him well.  And, of course, I made the farewell card.

The “Wherever You Go” stamp set is perfect – with masculine touches and sentiments.  I made my co-worker’s card using a full size 8.5″ x 11″ paper so there would be a lot of room for personalized messages from the entire office.  While I had the supplies out, I made a another card using A7 card blank.

This card was inspired by Terri Allen using the colors of Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake and Basic Black.  I found Terri’s original design on Splitcoaststampers website.  Click here to see her amazing card.

Tip:  There are many places to find inspiration.  You can type in a stamp set name and search Google  or Pinterest.  Another good source is Splitcoaststampers website.  It has founded by independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators decades ago – and it showcases literally a gazillion card ideas, projects and techniques for using your stamps.  Click here to visit the Stampin’ Up! Gallery.

Until next time, happy crafting!
