Hello crafting friends! Thanks for stopping by.
Here is a really cute craft that I made for my niece, Krista. She just weeks away from earning her Masters in Early Education from Christopher Newport University. Krista has been very busy this semester working in her third grade classroom. She really loves her students and I know that she’s going to be one of those memorable teachers — the one who you remember fondly and never forget. That is because she showers each of her students with love and brings out their very best. Needless to say, I am very proud of her!
Any way, I wanted to do something for her and her students. I used Delightful Daffodil, Smoky Slate and Basic Black cardstock and some googly eyes to make these cute little minions using the Curvy Keepsake Thinlits dies.
This versatile die set makes perfect tags and boxes every time using the Big Shot. And, with a little ingenuity, it can be something as sophisticated as a wedding favor or as fun as a third grade classroom treat. Each minion is stuffed with Sunbursts, Smarties and Skittles — so, this cute box is not the 3 R’s, but it is sure to bring some smiles to Krista’s students.
This die will be retired at the end of May, so if you’d like to make minions or another type of party favor, you should order yours soon. Here is a pink party favor from my February.
I had a lot of fun making these minions. Hope they bring a smile to your face!
Until next time, happy crafting!
