Father’s Day

Father’s Day honor fathers and celebrates fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of the very good men in our lives. It has been celebrated since the Middle Ages.  In many European countries, it has been celebrated on March 19, which is Saint Joseph’s Day. Today, many countries have adopted the U.S. date, which is the third Sunday of June — probably because it is better weather is better for grilling a thick steak on the grill!

Earlier this month, my  June stamp camp featured a card buffet of masculine cards.  It was interesting to see which cards my lady friends selected and the stories they told of their fathers and husbands.

Here are some of the cards — made using current and retired Stampin’ Up! stamp sets.
