Favorites Bundles in the New Catalog

Oh my, where to begin?  When I first sat down with my new catalog, I created a three  page list of must haves!  LOL!  With the color revamp, Stamparatus, Stampin’ Blends and 240+ pages of inspiration — it is easy to create an extra long wish list this year!

Let’s start with bundles because you receive two new coordinating products for a 10% discount!  Bundles always end up my wish list because of the fabulous results of their coordinating designs and the discount price is only good for the current year.  Since I love nature, it is not too much of a surprise that these bundles where at the top of my list:

Abstract Impressions Bundle (with stamp set of the same name and coordinating dies Springtime Impressions Thinlits dies) is part of the Garden Impressions product suite that’s perfect for releasing your inner artist for watercolor floral images, great sentiments, intricate butterfly and flower cluster dies.

Check out this video showcasing the Abstract Impressions bundle.

Lilypad Lake Bundle (with stamp set by the same name and coordinating Lakeside Framelits dies) for creating feminine and masculine cards with lake and ocean scenes.

Rooted in Nature (with stamp set by the same name and coordinating Nature’s Roots Framelits dies) is part of Nature’s Poem product suite that’s perfect for creating feminine and masculine cards year round.

Not convinced that this will be a personal favorite, check out this video featuring the Rooted in Nature bundle.

And finally, Sea of Texture (with stamp set by the same name and coordinating Under the Sea Thinlits dies) is part of the Tranquil Texture product suite and is perfect for creating oceans of fun this summer!

While these are my four must-have bundles, the new catalog offers 32 new bundles!  So there is certainly something to inspire your crafting talents.  Just click here to view these fabulous bundles from my on-line store.

Until next time, sending you crafting hugs and inspiration wishes!

New Catalog, New Features

05.02.18_SHAREABLE_AC2018_CatalogCover_USCA (1)This new catalog is amazing!  I’ve had lots of fun leafing through the pages, creating and then recompiling wish lists!  Gosh, I want it all!  But, if I got it all now, I would have trouble deciding what to play with first!  LOL!

A couple of things, that I enjoy when doing while reading and re-reading my catalog, is lingering over the letter from Shelli Gardner, Co-founder and Board Chair for Stampin’ Up!  In her open letter to all of us (on the inside cover), she reminisces over starting her business 30 years ago.  And because Stampin’ Up! started as a family business in her living room, Shelli shares recent photos of her husband, her five daughters and their families.  Believe me, Shelli is the genuine article.  She is sincere, sweet, gracious, humble and a friend to everyone she meets!  I know because I spent time with her at On-Stage Milwaukee in April 2018.

A NEW feature in the catalog is a unique product number for “You Can Make It” projects.  The older catalogs had inspiring or quick-to-create projects for crafters of every experience level.  The new catalog offers six specially bundled projects with a unique product number so that you can order everything needed to recreate the project plus it lists all the individual product numbers so that you order the items that you don’t already own!  These projects are great for new crafters and feature some of our favorite stamp sets like Waterfront, Beautiful Day and Daisy Delight.

you can make it

And did you see this icon legend in the catalog?  Be sure to note the blue ribbon seal for special bundle pricing for 10% discount that only applies during this catalog period — these products may carryover into the next year’s catalog but without the special pricing.  And, the youtube icon indicates video tutorials!  Wow!  What fun!

Let’s take a look at this stamp set from the catalog.  Notice how some of the stamp images have different color backgrounds.  A yellow background indicates a coordinating punch.  A gray background indicates a coordinating framelit die.  In the title description, you’ll find the name and page number of these coordinating products as well as the suggested block sizes.

The new 2018 Stampin’ Up! catalog is filled with products and inspiration in its 241 pages. I’m certain you’ll be flipping through this amazing catalog over and over again, revisiting certain pages repeatedly.  Here are pages that you’ll want to bookmark — either with a paperclip, post-it note or your handmade tabs using the circle tab punch.

Behind the Scenes Look

petal promenade

Floral designs are “on-trend” this year, so it is no surprise that Stampin’ Up! created the Petal Promenade product suite with a gorgeous abundance of flowers to properly celebrate all the good things in life through paper crafting cards, scrapbooks and 3-D projects.  And, some of the papers include trimmable elements to add extra pizzazz to your projects.

petal promenade dsp

Check out this video to see how Kaitlyn Zumbach, a product designer, used her love for fresh  flowers and computer technology to design the new Petal Promenade designer series paper.

Who knew that they would actually use real flowers??  And, who knew that so many of the new Stampin Up Core Colors were inspired by nature??

Which colors?  How about — Blushing Bride, Fresh Fig, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Sahara Sand, Smoky Slate and Tranquil Tide — just to name a few!

With so many wonderful new DSPs in the new catalog, it is probably a great time to offer my first paper share!

What’s a paper share?  That’s where I purchase the packs of paper, divide them up, and offer them for sale in smaller quantities.   This way, you get to enjoy crafting with all of these beautiful papers but at a lower cost.  Stay tuned for more information because I’ll be taking orders at the end of June.

Until next time, sending you crafting hugs and inspiration wishes!

New Catalog is Live!

06-01-18_header_ac2018_na

Oh my!  There is so much to love in the new catalog!  There are 14 new product suites of coordinating products; 80 new stamp sets; 26 new dies, 6 new punches and 7 new embossing folders.  To jazz up your project design, there are 16 new designer series papers, 32 new ribbons and 22 new embellishments.  With the color revamp, you will find 16 fresh new colors, 5 new In-Colors and 6 returning favorite colors to spark your creativity by trying lots of new color combinations.  And, if that isn’t enough, there are 3 new kits, 4 new Memories & More card packs and over 450+ samples to CASE (copy and selectively edit).  Here is a short video highlighting just some of these amazing new products!

Couple of items that I know you’ll want on your wish list:

#1 Stamparatus (Item #146276) — this is a must have tool for all stampers!  It helps you to align your align stamped images perfectly; to mass-produce the same project quickly; and to ensure complete ink coverage.  You may want to order replacement magnets (Item #148213) because these powerful magnets can snap together and crack.

#2 Simply Shammy (Item #147042) — this is a reusable stamp cleaning cloth.  Just rinse in tap water under the sink and wipe your stamps, blocks or Stamparatus clean.  After use, rinse out any excess ink and store in an empty, clear-mount, standard-size stamp case (Item# 119105).  If it dries out, simply rinse under the sink faucet.  The shammy is 100-times better than baby wipes because it leaves no lint, no residue on your stamps.  And, while the cloth will stain with repeated used — that just means it is well loved!

#3 Clear-Mount Standard Stamp Cases (Item #119105) — Extra stamp cases are great for organizing and storing embellishments (pearls, rhinestones, doilies), dimensionals, watercolor pencils, paper pumpkin stamps and of course you new Simply Shammy.  The printed catalog shows incorrectly shows a higher cost, the correct price is shown on-line is $6 for a set of four stamp cases.  These cases are a great way for storing your items on the shelf with your stamp sets.

SNEAK PEEK: Abstract Impression

Abstract Impressions stamp set will make you feel like an artist.  This two-step photopolymer stamp set will let you create beautiful flowers and butterflies in dazzling colors to display for all the world to see!  This stamp set is reminiscent of an old favorite red rubber Stampin’ Up set called Spring Garden – a personal favorite.  You’re going to love this new stamp set, especially when paired with Garden Impressions designer series paper and the new rainbow colors in 2018-2020 In-Colors collection!

I love the new Garden Impressions designer series paper and it coordinates so well with  Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover and Daffodil Delight inks and some Green Envy ribbon (retired) in my stash of craft supplies.

Here is the same card in Calypso Coral, Call Me Clover and Daffodil Delight inks with Calypso Coral seam binding ribbon.  The image is stamped on Whisper White cardstock and diecut using Stitched Shapes Framelit dies — for a beautiful framed artwork effect.
